Care Home Visits

Dental Care 2 U understands that organising transport, extra chaperones and multiple dental appointments can take up important time for care home staff. It can also be distressing for the patient.

We offer half day (5-7 patients) or full day (10-14 patients) services within your facility. We ideally like to set up in a spare room and see individual patients there, but we also accommodate individuals who would be more comfortable being treated in their own room/chair/bed.

Mouths are the gateway to the whole body. Your residents will not only benefit from convenient dental care, we also support their overall health in doing so.

As part of our dedication to ensuring care home residents maintain good oral health, we also provide FREE Oral Health Workshop for staff. We teach carers about the systemic links between oral diseases and general health complications such as Stroke, Alzheimer's Disease, Heart Disease and Diabetes. As well as the collateral impact of dental problems such a dry mouth, oral thrush and dental pain on overall wellbeing and communication. We then run through important oral hygiene techniques, diet advice and helpful products available to support patients.
